Yamazaki began as a family-run ironing boards manufacturer with 4 generations and over 100 years of history.
Before the World War ll, Yamazaki held locations in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka.
During the war, Tokyo and Nagoya branch were destroyed. Yamazaki started to expand into other household goods at the 4th generation such as umbrella stand and home organization.
Today, we apply the same sense of purpose and commitment to quality across hundreds of products – all designed to make life at home simpler, tidier and better.

Yamazaki’s philosophy comes from our roots in Japan. We have been challenging to design minimalist, modern design and saving-space items since Japan has a large population and very little space.
